This purpose of this project funded by the Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services (CFDA 84.327 A) is to develop and implement I-Connect, a web-based solution to increase self-management skills and support teacher, parents, and community connections for high school students. I-Connect is an innovative combination of new technology and evidence-based materials to improve student learning.
Students will be able to use smart phones and other wireless devices to self-manage, set and monitor goals and connect with support staff. When I-Connect is fully developed the student-level benefits will include, but not be limited to, increases in (a) attendance; (b) positive contacts with support system; (c) personal responsibility.
